So I haven't written in some time, mostly b/c there has been way too much drama so I will give the short story. We went on vacation, great time was so much fun, the surf, sand and water. Everyone had a great time even the sk's.

So it has now been 11 days since we have seen the sk's. We are supposed to get them this evening but I really doubt it. This should make for a very interesting holiday. My husband was able to actually call and talk to his daughter.

Okay so the calm before the storm, was I ever right. So the deal, we didn't get the kids on Thursday like we were supposed to, she finally did call my husband on Sunday and said that the kids didn't want to see us.

So is it Sunday now and we have called a lot to try to get a hold of the kids, still haven't heard form them. I know that they are okay b/c sd called my sister in law to see if he could sleep over on Friday she told him her son was sleeping over my house but he never called us.

So my husband and I normally get his kids every Thursday night and keep them over night and then take them to school, or back to where ever on Friday or keep them unitl she gets home. It has been this wasy for 4 years.

Well the ss did end up coming on vacation with us. However he did wait until the day we were leaving to make this decision. We all had a great time, the sk's were starting to rattle my nerves towards the end of the trip.

So biomom does have a live in boyfriend, slash fiance, she acts though he is the great at almight SD. Even has the kids calling him dad... So I have been in the picture for 4-1/2 years him about the same time, and I have seen him maybe 5 times.

It's so awful that when we went to our lawyer he said that unless who can prove she is having sex, doing drugs, or leaving the kids unattended you will never get them away. Why is it that the justice system plays the we can't take them away from the mother bit.

Here's one for discussion, Going into your relationship with husband and then following through and getting married, did you ever think maybe not, maybe not to be a stepmom and to have to mess with biomom......

Has this happened to anyone else.... Whenever my husband is not around, and we are at a sporting event, you would think that she is my best friend. Last night she talked to me for 45 minutes about anything and everything....

So we are going to the beach and we leave this week on Friday. We have had these plans forever..... So yesterday my ss's grandmother (the ex's mom) tells my husband that the ss doesn't want to come anymore because he will miss 4 games and 2 birthday parties.

So this summer we have decided with biomom to let the kids come live with us for a week at a time and alternate back and forth between the two households. This all steps from the fact the the ss (11 yrs old) wnats to come live with us.

Well, I have a question lets say you have a overly hyper child (the doctor confirms ADHD) put them on the meds would you give them the medication and then follow it up with a Jault drink. Hello how stupid can you be. The child is already overly active not really in a horrible way, but add the vault to the equasion and it equals diaster. So here we are out in public at the crack of dawn and her mother has brought a large bag of chips and a vault to drink. Then not even 20 mins after she has downed this drink, she is yelling at her to settle down and calm down. Just being completely stupid. It's enough to drive me crazy.....................

Here's another brain teaser, why is it that the ex thinks she is on some level ok to talk and like socialize with daughter. Every time we are all together, she is constantly talking to her, buying her snacks, or bringing them for her.

What to the kids think, I want to hear from actual step kids, do you ever realize the real truth. Or will it always be them against us. I need to know. What is the advice of the step kids that have been through it.
